- This database provides listings of organizations offering certification in a
variety of medical skills, plus listings of accredited training facilities
offering ancillary medical education in various technologies.
- Medical Equipment
- This is a forum for buying and selling medical equipment both new and used.
This allows you to put the Internet to work for you in meeting your equipment
needs.
- Support Groups
- Here you will find national and international support groups searchable by
state or topic. Click on the icon and you will see a text-sensitive map; for
listings in any particular state click on that state. For example, If I am
searching for a listing of all Florida support groups, I would click on Florida.
I can then browse the list of categories, and choose those that look
interesting. You may also skim down to "click here for a list of states" that
will give you a list of states, then click on the name of the individual state.
If you would prefer, you can also search by topic.

- You can keep current about your health care through the LifeLines®
Medical Journal. It's an entirely on-line medical journal that provides a
summary page written with the patient in mind. You can download articles of
interest and take them to your medical caretakers. You find the top ten
headlines when you enter the journal, previous articles available through the
archive search, and current articles listed by category.
- Insurance Commissioner Complaint Forms
- If you are having a problem with your insurance company, this section will
give you the necessary tools to file a complaint and get your problem solved.
Click on the text-sensitive map for your state, or scroll down to "click here
for a list of states." In this section, you can download a zip file, then
print all of the materials needed to file a complaint in your state.
