The undersigned has the legal power to authorize its publication in Lifelines and has notified all other relevant parties of the submission, and, when appropriate, has received their consent. The author or authors agree to indemnify Lifelines, Inc., its officers, employees, agents, and licensees and distributees against loss or damage (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of any claim concerning such warrants and representations. Copyright of the article is owned fully by Lifelines, including all rights of publication, reproduction in all media, present and future, including electronic and multimedia.
These articles are peer reviewed, reviewed both by editors and more importantly by the other professionals of the field who may make comments attached to your article in the accompanying chat forums.
Articles for computer may be submitted in a variety of different ways including text only, text plus graphics, and the graphics may be of any sort including video. Video graphics should not have accompanying auditory track.
The forum of the article submitted should have key words with seven key words, key subjects and the subject areas that the articles will be posted to such as bone, heart, blood vessel, brain, spine, etc., and essentially is written this way so as to allow interdisciplinarian viewing of the articles. The articles should also have an abstract which is no longer than three paragraphs designed for review by professionals, and a second abstract which is developed for evaluation of the articles by the lay public. The abstract should include overview, methodology, results, and conclusions as well as implications. The abstract for the lay people should have essentially the same, although of course should be written in layman's terms, and should also emphasize the importance of the medical issues to the general public. Each section of the professional abstract as well as the lay public oriented abstract will be linked to the underlying areas of the actual article. Thus the methodology section of the abstract will be linked directly to a methodology paragraph, or the methodology section of the full text article if such is the means that the article is being distributed in. The result section similarly may be either linked to a paragraph about the results, or may be linked to a paragraph embodied in a larger full text article as might be seen in a standard journal. The conclusions part and discussion part will also be linked either to a stand alone paragraph about conclusions and discussions, or to that section in the broader text standard article. Please be aware that certain individuals looking at these articles may choose, due to poor modem speeds, etc., to not download graphics or video and thus the text portion needs to be able to stand alone.
Estimated time to complete article once the underlying documentation of the result has been obtained, the estimated time to write and complete an article using a dictaphone is approximately 15 minutes. Response time to publication of the article is 5 business days. Publication will be immediate upon acceptance of the article and submission of the article to the journal authorizes reproduction of the article immediately upon submission. All copyrights and rights are reserved by this publication.
